Takara Hon Mirin Umami Rich Sweet Cooking Rice Seasoning 450ml
A mirin (sweet rice wine) made by Japanese alcohol manufacturer Takara. Made with 100% Japanese rice and alcohol without artificial seasonings.
This luxurious hon mirin is made only with domestically produced Japanese rice, and uses two different kinds of rice koji malt to enhance the flavor. While typical mirin only uses yellow koji, this Umami Rich version uses both white and yellow koji, increasing the umami by approximately 20% compared to standard mirin.
A central part of the bottle has a slightly hourglass figure designed to fit your hand nicely, ensures easy gripping, pouring, and squeezing. And the two-stage flip-top makes the adjustment of pouring easier: for a spoonful amount use the upper narrow mouth, for a cupful amount use lower wide mouth.
